The Department of Labor released its summary of county employment and wages for 2015. The DOL measured percentage increase in employment for the 342 largest U.S. counties, and Virginia had two counties in the top five. Loudoun County increased employment by 6.3 percent, coming in at No. 3. Chesterfield was right on their heels in the No. 4 spot, with an increase of 6.0 percent.
Florida was the only other state to have two counties in the top 10. Overall, the U.S.’s employment increased by 1.9 percent from December 2014 to December 2015.
